SAN ANTONIO – Mala Luna’s impressive second-year lineup hits San Antonio hard with artists including Lil Wayne, Future, Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Khalid and more.
It’s easy to tell the general public why being a hip-hop fan and attending the festival may go hand in hand. We’ll spare you the reading time because you have undoubtedly heard the multitude of hits on the radio from many of these artists.
Aside from the heavy hitters mentioned above, there are other acts on the lineup that Mala Luna festival goers shouldn’t sleep on.

The energetic 20-year-old Florida native burst out onto the scene with hits including his song ‘Audi.,’ which amassed more than 22 million views on Youtube and 30 million streams on Spotify. Most recently, Smokepurpp released his new mixtape ‘Deadstar’ which reached the Billboard Top 200 charts.
Colobmian singer-songwriter Kali Uchis has a very distinctive voice that you will instantly recognize if you’ve heard of her before. If you haven’t had the pleasure, well you’re in for a treat. Uchis has worked with some of the biggest names in music and in separate genres including Juanes, Tyler, The Creator, Reykon, Gorillaz, and more. She will join Lana Del Rey on select dates on her upcoming ‘LA To The Moon Tour’.
Houston native Ugly G*d got his start rapping with some of his earlier tracks getting pulled due to their overly offensive nature. We could give you the titles that are actually kind of funny, but we’ll let you do the Googling yourself and hear some of his earlier tunes. Ugly G*d’s most recent tape, ‘Booty Tape’ features a track with fellow Mala Luna artist Wiz Khalifa.
With four mixtapes under his belt currently, Maxo Kream gained notoriety for his remixes and standalone tracks. Like Ugly G*d, Maxo Kream is from Houston and raps about his insight on living on the streets and paints a picture with his storytelling and visceral words.
